CA Bar Style specializes in teaching first-time and repeat CA bar applicants how to properly prepare for the CA Bar Exam.  Specifically, our program targets personal weaknesses and focuses on bar exam writing, organization and analysis, writing for each subject on the exam,  performance test organization and MBE guidance as well.  

Most repeaters who come to us from other  courses have lacked personalized guidance and feedback on how to approach and analyze a bar essay and performance test.  CA Bar Style tutors will walk each applicant through exactly what the Examiners are looking for and how to give it to them.  In addition, it is imperative that applicants receive personal feedback on their written work  and improve their writing and analytical skills in order to submit essays and performance tests that will earn them passing scores.

WHAT IS "BAR STYLE"

“Bar Style” stands for the level of writing and analysis which is expected from a CA Bar applicant.  The CA Bar Examiners are known to be looking for a particular analysis and style of writing that is distinct from your law school exams and essays.  You will have three hours to complete three essays on both Tuesday and Thursday mornings of the exam, each of which will be filled with complex legal issues and some essays will also overlap with multiple areas of law.  Thus, as an applicant, you must be efficiently prepared to write a timely and organized bar essay and performance test answer that illustrates your knowledge of the law and it’s application to all of the relevant facts presented. 

The "style" of writing expected from you is thoroughly taught in the CA Bar Style program through writing analysis workshops, live or on-line personalized lectures and performance test and MBE workshops.  We work closely with each applicant to ensure improvement on their written work and are always available to meet, answer calls or e-mails with questions or concerns an applicant may have.
