CA BAR STYLE'S FOUR POINT-PLAN FOR BAR EXAM SUCCESS
*Every applicant will receive a customized daily schedule upon enrollment.
INITIAL ASSESSMENT: Head tutor Shana Karpeles will make an initial assessment of Applicant's strengths and weaknesses based on review of available previous exam blue-books (repeat takers) or from answers to evaluation questions (first-time takers). Based on the evaluation we customize a game plan of attacking any weaknesses or areas of improvement and integrate this game plan into our four-point plan outlined below.
POINT ONE: SUBSTANTIVE LAW REVIEW: Focused review of the substantive law of every CA Bar Exam tested subject through our fantastic outlines, flashcards and essay approaches and memorization attack charts combined with daily substantive law support.
POINT TWO: ESSAY, PERFORMANCE TEST AND MBE APPROACH:After a firm grasp on the substantive law is obtained, applicants are shown HOW to write for the essay and performance test portions of the exam. MBE Approach and instruction is also covered.
POINT THREE: PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! All CA Bar Style applicants then utilize the instructed approach and write at least two to four essays per subject and four to five performance tests. MBE assignments are also carried out. All submitted writing is returned with line-by-line thorough grading and breakdown of score range.
POINT FOUR: PERSONAL TUTORING AND EVALUATION: At least two times per month, or more, Applicants meet with head tutor Shana Karpeles to receive "big picture" evaluations based on their written submissions and Adaptibar MBE progress. It is during these sessions that applicants really understand where they are falling short and need to improve.
